iGlove is a glove with sensors for the rehabilitation of patients with ALS and \/ or neurological damage (Source:\u00a0ilcorriere<\/a>)<\/p>\n

Merck Award\u00a0in neurology<\/h2>\n

The Merck Award<\/a> in neurology with the patronage of\u00a0SIN <\/a> (Italian Neurology Society) as stated in the announcement:\"premio<\/p>\n

It is assigned to those technological innovations that improve quality of life of ALS patients.<\/p>\n

The prizes were two, each by 40.000 Euros, both assigned on 1st March 2017 to\u00a0two projects:<\/p>\n

home rehabilitation\u00a0for people with multiple sclerosis suffering of disequilibrium: Professor Paolo Confalonieri<\/p>\n

iGlove-study: Professor Maria Pia Sormani<\/p>\n

iGlove<\/h2>\n

Developed at the Science and Health department of Genova University, the project is coordinated by professor Maria Pia Sormani:<\/p>\n

Its purpose is to\u00a0monitor the damage to upper limbs using sensors able to measure the capacity of opposition of the fingers and the repetitiveness of exercises timing them.<\/p>\n
